OceanCare

For healthy living oceans

#oceancare

We are committed to protecting the oceans and marine animals.

What drives OceanCare

We share the Earth with countless marine inhabitants - from tiny organisms to the largest creatures on the planet. The Swiss marine conservation organization has been advocating for the protection of the oceans and their inhabitants since 1989, holding UN special advisor on marine issues. OceanCare has been raising its voice on behalf of marine life since 1989. The international marine conservation organisation, based in Switzerland, holds Special Consultative Status with UN ECOSOC and contributes to Agenda 2030 and the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.

What OceanCare has going on in 2024

We are committed to finding solutions to the plastic problem - worldwide and in Switzerland. Swiss consume an average of 127 kg of plastic per person annually. That’s almost three times the world average. Plastic from everywhere flows into the oceans via lakes and rivers. This has to change. Please sign the petition and share it in your network. Every vote counts, whether you live in Switzerland or not.
